The Council Leadership
Yokefellowship Prison Ministry is a 501c3 umbrella organization with local Area Council affiliates of which Schuylkill County is one of the fifteen current councils. Our local leadership team is one that is here to support the volunteers as they do the work within and out of the prisons. We will be adding the names and hopefully pictures of more of these hardworking people. It is important people that are willing to do God's work be given the support that we can provide to them.
Area Director
Cliff Balson is the Schuylkill County Area Director. He newly appointed and is available to serve in whatever capacity God calls him to do. Cliff is a published author and has been active in prison ministry and re-entry programs (transition homes and programs).
Area Chairman
Janes "Jim" Patton is the new Schuylkill County Area Council Chairman and is in the process of becoming a volunteer in prison ministry at SCI Frackville. Jim has been active in the faith community for many years. We are very lucky to have a person with his commitment to serving our Lord.
Spiritual Advisor
Pastor John Wallace is our new Spiritual Advisor. He is the pastor of First United Methodist Church in Pottsville. He is in the process of gaining entry as a volunteer in SCI Frackville. John as generously allowed us to use his church to conduct our meeting and training, Many thanks for his servant's heart.
Treasurer
Cindy Patton is our new treasurer and has been involved in numerous volunteer activities that keep her very busy. Cindy is always first to volunteer and her addition to the Council is greatly appreciated.
